Practical Pedagogy
In addition to our research development and community-building activities the research centre is also concerned with the impact of our activities and a key plank of that is the promotion of research-informed teaching and the promotion of critical thinking through education. To that end we are compiling materials that support practical music education. We are asking our research fellows to contribute materials but we would also love to hear from you if you have materials that you’d like us to share or link to that would be helpful or if there are particular issues or problems that you would like help with. In either event, please email admin@c21mp.org with details such as a description of the issue or problem, the names of scholars or practitioners who might be able to help and how it might be best addressed e.g. video lecture, workshop, discussion, collaborative projects etc.
